I use this technique to bake my outline thickness maps from Outline Helper into textures!

  1. You’ll have to go into vertex paint mode, make sure that the mask vertex group is highlighted/selected

  2. Go to Paint > Vertex Color from Weight. It will make a new color attribute/vertex paint group

  3. Then you need to make a shader and bake out that vertex paint to a texture
